DIY Multi-way Flip-flop

Here's a great way to re-design your flip-flops! This pair of slippers was a gift so I decided to re-design it instead of throwing them into the bin when the straps broke. 

What you need:

A pair of flip flop

4 x 1m fabric strip

A pair of scissors

White glue

Origami Bird Base Rose

Found some pretty origami roses on Bloomize and decided to try it myself.  

This is my first attempt on the Bird Base Rose and I think it is one of the easiest. I'm still struggling with the others cos' there are some steps I just couldn't get it right and it's frustrating!

Haven't been in a nice mood recently, especially at work. The accumulative negative energy is too great that it is affecting the way I interpret things and people. 

Politics at work is normal but when you experience it first hand, it's no joke. 

Lunch at Maki-san

I am a sucker for pretty packaging. The Japanese boxing is so pretty and you open up to your custom sushi. :) 

My choice: Brown rice + seaweed + shredded chicken + asparagus + avocado + turkey bacon bits 

Simple and healthy meal for lunch, and I personally think it is a best for OL.

Polka Dot Switch

Washi tape is wonderful! 

I got mine from Daiso at $2 each to try them out and I am addicted. 

Simply align the Washi tape according to the switch and cut off the excess tape.
